Just before 3 p.m., an adult male motorcycle rider was traveling northbound on Bluff Street when he collided with an Acura driven by an adult female, who was traveling southbound and turning east onto Tabernacle Street, St. George Fire Department Captain Dan Cazier said.
“They didn’t see each other and collided,” Cazier said.
The Acura driver was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic, St. George Police Officer Jeremy Needles said.
While Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene, neither driver was transported to a hospital, nor reported injuries at the scene. Damage was minor to the front of the motorcycle, while no visible damage was present on the Acura.
Traffic was blocked in the northbound lane of Bluff Street and eastbound lane of Tabernacle Street for 10 to 15 minutes during emergency responders’ observance and report of the scene, Cazier said.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.
